KP Learning Lab: Turning Challenges Into Confidence
About Me
Hi! I’m Kaylah Pitts, and I’ve been a tutor for 7 years—starting with the Indianapolis Algebra Project and continuing through college to today. I work with students from Preschool through 12th grade in all subjects and some college level science and ASL courses, with a focus on building confidence, mastering fundamentals, and creating individualized learning plans that work.
I currently tutor both individual students and partner with community centers and churches to expand access to academic support for youth in low-income communities. I’m proud to have an active contract with a major center on the west side of Indianapolis and am expanding to reach more families.
I specialize in supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and incorporate American Sign Language (ASL) into my sessions when needed to make learning more inclusive.
My mission is simple: every student deserves the tools to succeed—academically, emotionally, and socially. I’m here to help make that happen.
